Changes, well, 836cc kit, removed starter to make room for electrics, a Cagiva front, custom handlebars, replaced the bottom of the tank, handbuilt the oil tank, had the frame adjusted (didn't know how to weld at the time), seatpost bent, coil wires looped trough the engine, internal throttle, kickstand. There's a lot going on.

The motor in this CB750 is a '74 model, punched out to 836cc with the help of Wiseco 10.5:1 pistons. Power is boosted still further by dual Mikuni carbs and an electronic ignition system, both supplied by Honda specialists Cycle X. (The rebuilt transmission, tank, rear fender and speedo are also Cycle X items.) The super-clean foot controls.

reader rides | dave's 1981 honda cb750 bobber. this is dave jansen's clean cb build. the hardtail is a hand-welded custom mod as was the seat suspension. his bars are clubman's that were on the bike when dave bought it. the electrical was redone to accommodate the new turn signals and the engine is strong and little has been done to it.
